Wiranto Stabbed by the Unknown Person, Police Secured the Perpetrators

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law and Security (Menko Polhukam), Wiranto, was stabbed by an unknown person at Banten area on Today, Thursday (10/10/2019). 

The information was confirmed by the Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karo Penmas) of the Police Public Relations Division, Brig. Gen. Dedi Prasetyo.

Dedi said that the perpetrator had already been arrested. 

"The perpetrators have been secured. The regional police chief happened to be at the crime scene. It is currently under investigation," Dedi said when confirmed on Thursday.

Until now the motive of the stabbing person is unknown.

Quoted from Kompas TV, National Police Public Relations Karopenmas Division, Brigadier General Dedi Prasetyo, said this attack was an attempt to stab at Wiranto.

Dedi Prasetyo revealed that the police chief who was near Wiranto was injured because of the attack.

In a video recording circulating, Menkopolhukam Wiranto was attacked when he just got out of the car.

Wiranto had just finished attending the inauguration ceremony at Mathla'ul Anwar University, in Pandeglang. The man who stabbed Wiranto was immediately secured by the security forces and examined. (*)
