Invite Foreign Investors Interest, IBA Visits Economic Cooperation to Taiwan

IBA committed for helping Indonesian economy by economic cooperation visit to Taiwan. Most investors are still afraid be able to invest in Indonesia.

International Business Association(IBA) visits to economic cooperation with several countries in Taiwan, last Wednesday (9/10/2019). 

TRIBUNBATAM.id - International Business Association (IBA) continues to be committed for helping Indonesian economy, especially Batam City.

This can be seen from several efforts that have been made, one of them is by conducting an economic cooperation visit to Taiwan a few days ago, 9 to 11 October 2019.

In the meeting which was also attended by Countries of Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar, IBA as the representative of Indonesia participated in bringing several entrepreneurs from various business sectors to introduce the business potential and business climate in the beloved country.

"The reason that international community wants to cooperate with Indonesia is because our country is beautiful. There is a lot of potential here, just how we convince investors out there. IBA is trying to accommodate that, so the country's economy and society are helped," said Shan-Shan, Chair of IBA , Monday (10/14/2019) afternoon.

Shan-Shan said, most investors themselves are actually still afraid be able to invest in Indonesia due to several things, one of the reason is ease of doing business without the need for interference from several security factors and so forth.

"There is the role of IBA. Of course there must be someone who believes them (investors) so that Indonesia can be known abroad. Easy doing business needs that," he explained.

In addition, he said that if pursed into Batam city itself, the industrial or factory business sector is one of the most glimpses.

Moreover, with the current industrial conditions in Batam being sluggish.

If investors can plant their shares, then employment for the community will be helped.

"We were in Taiwan for three days, and saw some business developments and technology begin to advance. Like the smart hotel, soy sauce industry and J-Shine Enteprise CO Ltd which is one of the largest cosmetics industries in the world. Just imagine we made it in Indonesia? "There are many positive impacts for improving the economic level," he explained.

Shan-Shan also explained, IBA will also be prepared be able to stand in 34 provinces in Indonesia.

However, according to him, this must be well conceptualized so in the future it can be well coordinated.

"We are also supported by the government, such as Mr. Haripinto, a DPD member. It means that we can also become partners in economic field going forward. But not only economically, socially and culturally we are also open," concluded Shan-Shan.

IBA itself is a non-profit institution with the aim of helping to improve economic level in Indonesia by trying to attract investors and introduce local entrepreneurs goes to international.

Beside that, IBA also focuses on health,social-humanitarian and cultural issues.
