TRIBUNBATAM.id - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators summoned four witnesses to be examined in a bribery case related to fish imports, Wednesday (10/30) today.

One of the witnesses questioned today was the new Director of Indonesian Fisheries, Farida Mokodompit. She was examined for her status as a former Director of Operations at Perum Perindo.

"She will be examined as a witness for the suspect RSU (Risyanto Suanda), former Managing Director of Perindo," said KPK Spokesman, Febri Diansyah in his statement.

As is known, Farida was previously the Director of Operations of Perum Perindo. She was appointed as Managing Director of Perum Perindo after the previous Managing Director, Risyanto Suanda, was entangled in a corruption case.

In addition to Farida, investigators are also scheduled to examine three other witnesses for the suspect Risyanto Suanda.

The three witnesses were a housewife named Nurlaila, Cluster Director of Government for Ritz Carlton & JW Mariott, Rika Rachmawati, and an employee of Perindo, Mohammad Saefullah.

Reported earlier, the KPK set Perum Perindo Managing Director, Risyanto Suanda and Director of PT Navy Arsa Sejahtera, Mujib Mustofa, as suspects in bribery cases related to import quotas of frozen pacific mackerel or salmon fish.

In this case, Risyanto is suspected of receiving bribes worth Rp 1,300 from every kilogram of salmon imported by PT Navy Arsa Sejahtera (PT NAS).

Meanwhile, Risyanto promised import quota to PT NAS of 250 tons in May 2019 with an additional 500 tons for October 2019. (*)
