September 2019, Batam Exports Decreased 12.78 Percent
BPS released data on the export and import development of Batam City for September 2019. Fallen by 12.78 percent when compared to exports in August.
TRIBUNBATAM.id - Batam Central Statistics Agency (BPS) has just released data on the export and import development of Batam City in September 2019.
Batam BPS head, Rahyudin said the value of Batam City exports in September 2019 reached 753.86 million US dollars.
"This number is said to have fallen by 12.78 percent when compared to exports in August 2019," he said, Tuesday (11/05/2019).

For exports in the oil and gas sector in September 2019, Batam City BPS data recorded a total of 0.02 million US dollars.
While for the non-oil and gas export sector, it reached US $ 753.84 million, up 4.96 percent compared to August 2019.
"The largest double digit HS non-oil export sector in September 2019 is the group of electrical goods or machinery (85) of US $ 263.02 million, while cumulatively from January to September 2019 it reached US $ 1,749.62 million, with a role in non-oil exports of 34,96 percent," he said.
In exports to Singapore, Batam City BPS data shows that the value reached was US $ 298.58 million, while cumulatively from January to September 2019 the figure was US $ 2,990.19 million with a contribution of 48.11 percent.
Rahyudin said there were five ports contribution in Batam to the cumulative exports from January to September 2019, namely Batu Ampar Port, Sekupang Port, Belakang Padang Port, Kabil or Panau Port, and Sambu Port.
"The biggest value is through Batu Ampar Harbor, which is US $ 2,842.11 million, then followed by Sekupang Port with a value of US $ 1,340.93 million, Belakang Padang Port of US $ 1,208.74 million, Kabil or Panau Port of US $ 805.89 million and the lastly through Sambu Island Port with a value of US $ 14.17 million, "Rahyuddin explained
