Drowning Victims in Batam View Resort Not Yet Found

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Dody Kurniawan (20), the victim drowned in Batam View Resort until now still not found, Tuesday (11/12/2019).

Dody, or familiarly called Doni, was thought to have fallen and finally drowned while fishing around restaurant owned by Batam View Resort, Batam City, yesterday afternoon, Monday (11/11/2019).

"Today the team is still conducting a sweep around location," said Head of Basarnas Tanjungpinang Class A Search and Relief Office, Mu'Min.

The search, according to him, was carried out by combing as far as 1.5 Nautical Mile (Miles of the Sea) around Dody's last place of activity.

Meanwhile, according to Dody's school friend, Try, the search was stopped at 12 pm yesterday.

"On morning continued, officer said. But we are here praying and waiting to hope Dody returns," he said.

Previously, Dody was allegedly drowned at 16:30 WIB yesterday.

He left the house at 6:45 a.m. to go fishing around his place of work, Batam View Resort.

At 10:00 WIB, Dody was still seen by several witnesses.

However, entering the afternoon his figure was nowhere to be seen.
