Batam Aero Technic (BAT) Collaborates with Five Leading Companies

TRIBUNBATAM.id - In line with the dynamics of business, the aviation industry in Indonesia is showing developments in its growth.

One of them happened at the aircraft maintenance and repair center or Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul (MRO) which still had big opportunities from the existing market share.

Batam Aero Technic (BAT), which is a company in the field of aircraft maintenance and repair, a member of Lion Air Group, has just implemented an agreement to develop cooperation. 

The collaboration was carried out with leading companies, including Airbus, AirFi Indonesia, Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Victor Enterprises, Authorized ExxonMobil. 

The signing was carried out by President Director of Batam Aero Technic (BAT), I Nyoman Rai Pering Santaya with Head of Services Sales of Airbus Asia Pacific, Cecile Houdet, President Director of PT Dua Surya Dinamika (Airfi Indonesia), Satish I. Mahtani, President Director of PT Honeywell Indonesia, Roy Kosasih, General Manager of Pratt & Whitney Canada, Tham Eng Kit and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Victor Enterprise, ExxonMobil, Alan Lim. 

This achievement was held in Jakarta to coincide with the 7th Aviation MRO Indonesia (AMROI) event or aircraft maintenance conference.

Batam Aero Technic President Director, I Nyoman Rai Pering Santaya said, BAT is proud to develop business with related partners that aim to create synergy to improve BAT's capabilities and support the aviation industry. 

I Nyoman Rai Pering said, BAT welcomed the form of cooperation on the occasion and was optimistic that the collaboration would increase BAT diversification.

While cooperation with Honeywell, more concentrated in maintaining the reliability of components and technical support in operational services to improve skills and managerial human resources. 

Cooperation with Pratt and Witney Canada, said I Nyoman Rai, among others, implemented information and technology (transfer technology) to support the development of engine maintenance and aircraft components (engine shop) in Batam. 

This segment is considered potential to be worked on. Thus, it can provide efficiency added value to engine maintenance and improve the development of human resource capabilities to be more superior. 

For Victor Enterprises, Authorized ExxonMobil, includes cooperation in the supply of lubricating oil and developing capabilities to analyze needs and optimize aircraft engine performance.
