Hang Nadim Airport Passenger Increases Ahead of Christmas and New Year 2020
Welcoming Christmas and New Year, surge of passenger in Hang Nadim Airport Batam had reached 5 percent. In Friday, till last Sunday already above 7000
TRIBUNBATAM.id - Towards Christmas and New Year (Nataru) surge of passengers has begun to be seen at Batam's Hang Nadim Airport.
Director of Batam Hang Nadim Airport Business Agency (BUBU), Suwarso said the surge had reached 5 percent.
"Previously the number of passengers was below 7000 people, in Friday, Saturday and last Sunday already above 7000," Suwarso told Tribunbatam.id, Wednesday (12/12/2019).
He admitted the flight route from Hang Nadim Airport was still normal and there had been no additions.
A total of 23 routes for domestic and 1 international.
"Around the 20th there was a notification from Ministry of Transportation that there were additions or not," said Suwarso.

He continued some time ago his side had coordination meeting with Ministry of Transportation.
So far, the process is still asking airlines to propose additions until deadline on 15 December.
Meanwhile, it is predicted that surge in passengers at Hang Nadim Airport will occur on December 23, 2019 and the return flow will be on December 3, 2019. (tribunbatam.id / Roma Uly Sianturi)
