Influenced by Social Media, Singaporeans Visit Karimun Anak Island and Gave Aid
Singapore carried out social activities in Karimun. They distributed food to 13 families who live on Karimun Anak Island, an Indonesia's border area.
TRIBUNBATAM.id - A group of travelers from Singapore carried out social activities in Karimun.
The foreigner group from charity tour group called Matra Temasek & D'Angels distributed food to 13 families who live on Karimun Anak Island, a border area in Republic of Indonesia.
Assistance provided are13 bags of 25-kilogram rice, mattresses, pillows, sugar and cooking oil.
Each household is given a 25 kg sack of rice, 2 mattresses, 4 pillows, 1 kg of sugar and 1 kg of cooking oil.
"They are my guests, they are a charity tourism group from Singapore," said a resident of Karimun Afrianto who delivered Singaporeans, Monday (1/13/2020).
Singaporeans activities are also escorted by Tebing Police Personnel.

Tebing Police Chief, AKP Fian Agung Wibowo also participated.
They went to Karimun Anak island by renting a boat.
Departed from the inter-island port, Sri Tanjung Gelam on Nusantara road, Tanjung Balai Karimun at around 09.00 WIB.
Afrianto said the traveler from Singapore had been in Karimun since Saturday (11/1/2020).
"They claimed to know Karimun Anak Island from a post on Facebook. Some posted almost similar activities on Facebook, they became interested," Afrianto said.
Afrianto added after seeing life in Karimun Anak, the travelers wanted to come back again for help later.
