KEPRI Provincial Government's Ready To Assist All Operating Costs of Conjoined Twins in Batam
The operation to separate conjoined twins planned for next March 2020 at the Batam Business Entity (BP) Hospital was constrained by costs.
From BPJS Health can only bear the cost of Rp. 11 million for the operation of the conjoined twins.
The rest, still lacks a lot of costs.
Isdianto came to see first hand the condition of the conjoined twins named Zakia.
Isdianto said he had just had a chance to visit the conjoined twins this Saturday because his activities were quite dense.
During the visit, Isdianto revealed, the Riau Islands Provincial Government would cover all operational costs for the two babies.
"We will take from the allocation of health funds to assist the operation of the baby twins," said Isdianto.
He said the assistance was a form of attendance and concern for the provincial government for its people.
According to the Batam RSBP Medical Manager, the operation cost for separating conjoined twins is estimated to cost around Rp. 1.4 billion. (Tribunbatam.id/Alamudin) (*)
