Prevent Corona Virus Enter Karimun, Immigration Tightens Foreign Tourists Observation
Tanjungbalai Karimun Port closely monitor foreigners who enter cause by Corona virus which are quite horrendous to the world. Here's the way they did.
TRIBUNBATAM.id - Immigration officers closely monitor foreigners who enter through Tanjungbalai Karimun Port.
This is due to global issues related to Corona virus which are quite horrendous to the world.
"Regarding Corona virus, we have carried out the process as it should. By conducting close supervision at the port to prevent it," said PLH Chief of Immigration Class II Tanjungbalai Karimun, Bayu Eka Permana, Monday (1/27/2020).
But even so, Tanjungbalai Karimun Class II Immigration Office has not added personnel at TPI (Immigration Checkpoint).
"The addition of technical personnel for this issue will be seen situational. For now, there are no obstacles for us to add personnel. But we remain vigilant," he said.
Bayu added, for now there is no specific policy implemented by Immigration to prevent foreigners from entering Karimun.
"Until now there is no specific policy from the center," he said.
Besides Immigration officer, all relevant agencies at Tanjungbalai Karimun International port were also on standby.
From the monitoring of tribunbatam.id at Tanjungbalai Karimun International Port, all officers who deal directly with passengers appear on standby by wearing masks and gloves.
Among Port Area Health (KKP) officers monitor the body temperature of passengers using thermalscanner. Then Customs and Excise officers who check passenger luggage.
Ferry passengers arriving from Malaysia or Singapore are monitored intensively by officers.
Until now there has not been found any passengers who were exposed to Corona virus in Karimun Regency. (ayf)
