More than 12 hours the crew of the MV Wavemaster 6 is prohibited from getting off the ship. Here's the details related to corona virus.
TRIBUNBATAM.id - More than 12 hours the crew of the MV Wavemaster 6 is prohibited from getting off the ship. This is due to the presence of a passenger who is suspected of having been detected by the corona virus.
Even the news of a passenger suspected of have been detected by the corona virus was not notified directly to the ship operator and the syahbandar.
"Until now there has been no official notification from the Port Health Office to us. Only delivered verbally, ABK may not go ashore from the ship," said Operations Manager, Zenorega, Thursday (1/30/2020).
Zenorega regretted, if true, there was a passenger attack suspected to be a Corona virus, ABK MV Wavemaster 6 should have been quarantined immediately.
"ABK should have been immediately quarantined or checked for health if one of the passengers was suspected to have been indicated by the Corona virus. It had been 12 hours on the ship, and only ABK had been taken for temporary quarantine," he said.
According to him, MV Wavemaster 6 had twice left with passengers and was only banned from being able to work anymore.
Previously, he was just waiting for the actions taken by the quarantine party against ABK MV Wavemaster 6.
However, after the news of the passengers indicated the corona virus was sticking out in the media, it was only the KKP's action. (TribunBatam.id/Zabur Anjasfianto)
