"Certainly officers always check the body temperature of passengers who come from abroad. It's just that no body temperature has been found to be above 38 degrees Celsius," he said.
He also said that every passenger who came from Singapore and Malaysia had to carry a Health Precaution Letter.
"So, when passengers want to enter the ship to the Riau Islands, must fill in and bring a Health Precaution Letter. When arriving at the port of Indonesia, the letter will be held until the next 14 days," he said.
He explained, it was intended that officers know firsthand the passenger medical history data.
"In addition, if later there are complaints of illness, when treatment just show it to the doctor. So that action can be taken quickly," he said. (tribunbatam.id/endra kaputra)
