Get Ready! Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement System will Apply in Batam City Soon

TRIBUNBATAM.id -  Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) system will be implemented in Batam City, Riau Islands Province.

Head of the Barelang Police Traffic Unit, Commissioner Muchlis Nadjar said, it wasn't only the police who played a role in the implementation of this ETLE.

Cross-agency roles such as the attorney's office, the appointed bank representative namely Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) will participate in assisting the implementation of this ETLE system. 

"In Jakarta, the system has been implemented, then in the regions it will adjust," he said, Tuesday (2/2/2020).

He revealed, the application of the ETLE system began around one or two months in the future.

His party was incessantly doing tickets to motorists who were found playing mobile phones. 

The plan, the application of the ETLE system is known to have appeared since the previous 2 years.

The Director General of Riau Islands Police plans to implement Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement which began in Batam. 

This was conveyed by the Director General of Riau Islands Police, AKBP Roy A.C to a number of media crews. He said that the implementation would begin in 2019.

"We do it first in Batam City. Currently we are preparing the tools needed," he said, Tuesday (11/27/2018).
