Threatened to Stop Operating, ATB is Waiting for BP Batam's Direction on Clean Water Rationing
The elevation of water in Duriangkang Reservoir, Batam City, Riau Islands Province is increasingly worrying. ATB is waiting for BP Batam's direction.
TRIBUNBATAM.id - The elevation of water in Duriangkang Reservoir, Batam City, Riau Islands Province is increasingly worrying.
From the data collected by PT Adhya Tirta Batam (ATB), the height has reached minus 3.33 meters from the surface of the overflow building.
From that calculation, it is predicted that the water level will reach minus 3.4 meters one week in the future.
This condition, according to ATB, will disrupt the Water Treatment Plant (IPA) in Tanjungpiayu, including being able to stop operating.
When that happens, the intake pump at Tanjungpiayu WTP will touch the bottom of the reservoir.
Seeing this condition, ATB also had to compulsorily distribute rotated water to several points for Batam residents.

But regarding the schedule, ATB Head of Corporate Secretary, Maria Jacobus admitted that his party was still waiting for direction from Batam Business Entity (BP Batam).
"Not yet. Still just waiting," she told TribunBatam.id when confirmed, Sunday (3/22/2020).
It has developed a rationing scheme. "We have released that," she continued.
But she did not want to say much about the schedule. Because, for her it is the working area of BP Batam.
"That is BP's domain due to the raw water solution," she added.
But Maria mentioned the possibility of Monday (3/23/2020) later, the relevant parties will again inform about the rotational water rationing schedule for residents in the future.
"Monday," she said. (TribunBatam.id/Ichwan Nur Fadillah)
