Sagulung Sub-district, Asks Residents to Stay at Home, Break the Chain of Coronavirus Spreading

TRIBUNBATAM.id -  Following the Batam City Government's appeal regarding prayers in congregation, Camat Sagulung, Batam hopes the citizens can understand that matter.

"This is not forbidding, but we see that someone has died due to positive Covid-19, and the deceased is a priest who clearly has a congregation and surely meets his/her congregation," said Head of Sagulung Sub-District, Reza Khadafy, Wednesday (3/25/2020 ).

He said it could have Coronavirus already in someone's body who had contact with those who were positive Covid-19. However, due to strong endurance, the virus can't enter the body. 

"So we, who have weak immune systems can become victims. Therefore, we hope that Sagulung citizens can understand the state of the Coronavirus pandemic," Reza said.

He also hopes that all religious leaders from Ustadz, priests and other religious leaders will become an extension of the government in deciding the spread of the Coronavirus. 

"If we don't start with ourselves, who else can help us," Reza said. 

Reza said, after a citizen died of positive Covid-19 and was buried, he helped to pick up other residents who had been in contact with the patient. 

According to his statement, patients who died of the Coronavirus, are thought to have met many people. 

"So let's take care of each other. Let's break the chain of Coronavirus spread by staying at home," Reza said. (Tribunbatam.id/Ian Pertanian)
