Covid-19 Positive Patient Number 03 in Batam Reportedly Died

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Covid-19 Positive Patient Number 03 in Batam City died on Monday (3/30/2020) at around 1:45 WIB.

This was revealed by Head of Batam City Health Department, Didi Kusmarjadi.

"Yes, it's true that patient number 03 in Batam died," Didi told TRIBUNBATAM.id, Monday (3/30/2020).

He admitted that Covid-19 03 patient was being treated at Embung Fatimah Regional General Hospital.

"Not buried yet. Still at the hospital. Plans this morning. But it is still being processed according to the procedure," Didi said.

Had History Attend a Meeting in Jakarta

Earlier it was reported, a positive patient of Corona virus in Batam who had just been treated at Embung Fatimah Regional Hospital, Batam.

It was known from a press conference chaired by Batam Co-19 Pandemic Management Task Force Amsakar Achmad accompanied by Batam Head of Health Department Didi Kusmardjadi, Regional Secretary Jefridin, Monday (3/23/2020).

A Batam resident has the following travel history.

9 March: Through Hang Nadim travels to Jakarta.

10 March: Attending activities in Jakarta

11 March: He contacts the Ministry of Sea Transportation for a meeting. Then continue the journey to Pluit, North Jakarta. He returned to the hotel.

Next Friday, March 13, the residents felt unwell and the next day was feverish.

Saturday night, he was taking medication for fever and rest.

Sunday morning his condition improved and healthy.
