Married Couples in Batam Have Drastically Decreased, Postpone and Wait For Covid-19 To End

As many as 26 couples, he said, were registrants last March. "For April registration, the marriage is postponed," he said.
Zainal said, there has been a decrease in the volume of marriage rates. This is different when compared to before Corona virus putbreak. Within a month it can reach 60 to 70 people.
Especially the moment ahead of Ramadhan, continued Zainal demand for the number of marriages usually increases.
"Before the Eid is usually the volume of marriage increases, because the couple who want Eid both want to feel different conditions and atmosphere, usually let someone accompany the meal, taraweh prayers and return home to the in-laws," said Zainal.
"But with this condition in the midst of this epidemic, a prospective husband and wife couple must first refrain," he explained.
