TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Director of Batam Hang Nadim Airport Business Agency and BP Batam Information Technology, said currently there are 6 airlines operating in Batam's Hang Nadim Airport.

As is known, currently limited flights have been opened for certain circles, including business people.

Although flights are available, the number of airplane passengers are still minimal.

In fact, sometimes there are only 2 or 4 passengers could depart and sometimes more.

For flights on Sunday (05/10/2020), the number of people leaving Batam turns out to be more than people visiting this city.

"Today there are 86 arrivals through Hang Nadim Airport, while for Departures there are 215 people," Suwarso said.

One of the six flights is Lion Air group, namely Batik Air with the destination of Jakarta.

Previously, Lion Air Group planned to operate flights for all routes.

"Lion Air previously asked for 5 routes. But last night it turned out that only Batik Air was flying," he said, Sunday (05/10/2020).

Today's flight activities from and to outside the region are served by Citilink with three 3 flights namely Jakarta, Medan and Pekanbaru.
