Lagoi Bintan Tourism Ready to Run New Normal, Travelers Get Ready!

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The government is planning that Bintan Regency area to be implemented as New Normal Pilot Projects.

With this plan, the tourism sector must improve and adjust.

One of them is by applying health protocols in tourist attractions if they want to bring tourists during the current Covid-19 Pandemic.

General Manager (GM) of Laguna Bintan, Alpha Eldiansyah admitted, strongly supports the policy that will be imposed by the central government on Bintan Regency, specifically the Lagoi Tourism Area. 

"The policy makes the tourism sector in Bintan will move again," Alpha said, Friday (05/29/2020).

Alpha also said, to ensure the trust of foreign tourists to come back to Bintan is to control the Covid-19 virus pandemic condition itself.

Where the Lagoi Tourism Region as an integrated tourist area in the Riau Islands, and is ready to do business with this New Normal direction. 

He continued, with this step, Bintan was expected to become a reference for other countries to allow tourists from their own country to visit Bintan. 

Alpha also added, that for Banyan Tree Bintan itself, it had also prepared itself and conducted training in an effort to prepare resort operations with New Normal procedural. 

"So, tourists will feel comfortable and confident in the level of hygiene and sanitation during their vacation. So, it will have a positive impact even though there will be restrictions related to safety and cleanliness," he concluded.
