TRIBUNBATAM.id - Government Spokesperson for Handling Covid-19, Achmad Yurianto said, the average death rate in the country due to Covid-19 was higher than the average global mortality rate.
This was conveyed directly by Yurianto in a press conference at BNPB, Jakarta, Sunday (07/07/2020).
Yurianto said, if the death rate due to Covid-19 is seen nationally, currently it has reached 5 percent.
"When viewed from the national death rate, there are 5 percent," Yurianto said.
The number, he said, is higher than the average world mortality rate. As of Sunday, the world mortality rate reached 4.72 percent.

"This is relatively higher than the world average, which is 4.72 percent," he said.
The number of patients dying from Covid-19 in Indonesia reached 3,171 people on Sunday.
The increase in number was obtained after there were an additional of 82 Covid-19 patients who died.
In total, the number of Covid-19 cases has reached 63,749 since it was first announced on March 2 last.
The number was obtained after there were an additional 1,607 positive cases.
Meanwhile, the number of patients recovered increased by 886, bringing the total to 29,105. (*)
