TRIBUNBATAM.id - Lion Air Group provides the opportunity for 2,600 employees whose contracts were not previously renewed, to rejoin the airline.
Danang Mandala Prihantoro, Lion Air Group's Corporate Communications Strategic, said the decision was taken in line with increased flight operations across the airline group with the lion logo.
"Lion Air Group provides an opportunity for approximately 2,600 people who were not previously extended their work contracts to be able to work again, along with operational improvements," he said in a written statement, Thursday (07/09/2020).
Furthermore, Danang said, the flight trends served by Lion Air, Batik Air, and Wings Air continued to increase.
In fact, he claimed to be optimistic that the aviation industry could return to normal in early 2021.
This upward trend is reflected by the continued growth in the number of passengers from month to month.
Then, Lion Air assesses that various government policies, such as setting limits on the price of rapid tests, will be able to stimulate the interest of the public to travel by plane.
Therefore, Lion Air decided to increase the number of airlines to be carried out in various destinations of origin and destination.
