Batam Culture and Tourism Department ( Disbudpar) has again checked the implementation of health protocols and guidance for restaurant in Batam city.

Head of Batam City Culture and Tourism Department, Ardiwinata said that all business sectors have been supervised by Batam City Government.

Especially for the tourism sector, it is supervised by Batam City Disbudpar.

"Disbudpar has a supervisory team and each team moves according to its field. Today we are monitoring the restaurant, ”explained Ardi, Thursday (6/8/2020).

Some time ago, Disbudpar Team checked and provided guidance at Mie Tarempa KBC Batam Center restaurant.

The restaurant is urged to apply the health protocol set by government to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Batam City.

The health protocols that must be implemented by restaurant operators include the obligation to wear masks for employees and guests, provide a place to wash hands and hand sanitizers, maintain line distance, mark seats for physical distancing, and regulate the capacity of visitors in closed rooms.

In addition, restaurants are also required to install transparent plastic screens around the cashier counter to prevent droplet transmission.

It is also recommended that business premises be sprayed with disinfectant once a week.
