A high number of new cases have been added, even though the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has been going on for more than five months.
Government data that entered until Saturday at 12.00 WIB showed that there were 2,277 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
This information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force through the Covid19.go.id website, which was updated on Saturday afternoon.
A total of 2,277 new cases were discovered after the government examined 30,565 specimens from 11,692 people sampled.
In total, there have been 1,693,880 specimen examinations from 963,602 people sampled.
With a note, one person can undergo the examination more than once.
It is known that there are additional 1,749 Covid-19 patients who recover in a day.
