TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has been going on for more than five months, however, until now the transmission of the coronavirus still occurs in the community.
Government data until Wednesday (12/8/2020) at 12.00 WIB shows that the number of Covid-19 cases in the country continues to grow.
In the last 24 hours, it is known that there have been an additional 1,942 new cases of Covid-19.
The addition changed the number of infection cases to 130,718 cases in Indonesia, starting from the announcement of the first case on March 2, 2020.
This information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force through the Covid19.go.id website, whose data was updated this Wednesday afternoon.

A total of 1,942 new cases were discovered after the government examined 26,248 specimens a day. There were 13,698 people, whose sample specimens were taken during the same period.
In total, the government has examined 1,783,673 specimens since the start of the pandemic.
Meanwhile, the number of people examined reached 1,012,104 people.
This means that one person can undergo the examination more than once. (*)
