TRIBUNBATAM.id - The government through the Covid-19 Handling Task Force shows the latest data on the number of Covid-19 cases and patients until Friday (14/8/2020).
Based on the latest data until this Friday at 12.00 WIB, it is known that there have been 2,307 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
The addition has caused the accumulation of Covid-19 cases to date to 135,123 people, starting from the announcement of the first case on March 2, 2020.
This information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Task Force through the Covid19.go.id website which was accessed on Friday afternoon.
A total of 2,307 new cases were discovered after examining 26,018 specimens a day. In that period, a total of 12,728 people were sampled.
With the record, one person can undergo a specimen examination more than once.
In total, the government has examined 1,835,505 specimens and 1,039,682 people who have been sampled.
Those who were declared cured were based on examination by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method and showed negative results from the virus.
There were 2,060 Covid-19 patients who were declared cured in a day.
Thus, a total of 89,618 patients were declared cured of Covid-19 and no longer infected with the coronavirus. (*)
