UPDATE September 10: Records, Increased 3,861 Covid-19 Cases in 24 Hours

TRIBUNBATAM.id - Indonesia has again made a record for the daily addition of positive cases of Covid-19. 

Based on government data Thursday (9/10/2020), there were additional 3,861 cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. 

This figure is the highest increase since the first case of Covid-19 was announced by President Joko Widodo on March 2.  

The addition of 3,861 Covid-19 cases was the result of examining 34,909 specimens out of 20,314 people in one day.

Thus, the accumulated number of positive Covid-19 patients in Indonesia is currently 207,203 people.

This information was conveyed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force through data from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) quoted by Kompas.com, Thursday afternoon.

Based on Kompas.com's records, the previous highest daily patient addition occurred on Thursday (3/9/2020) with 3,622 people. 

In this Thursday's report, it was also conveyed that there were an additional 2,310 recovered Covid-19 patients. 

Thus, the total number of patients recovered has now reached 147,510 people.

Meanwhile, the number of deaths increased by 120, so that Covid-19 patients died to 8,456 people. 

The Covid-19 case in Indonesia is known to have spread widely in 489 districts/cities in 34 provinces. (*)
