Recovering from Covid-19, Health Workers in Batam Immediately Back on Duty
Several health centers and hospitals in Batam City are known to have started operating again after their health workers were exposed to Covid-19.

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Several health centers ( Puskesmas) and hospitals in Batam City are known to have started operating again after their health workers were exposed to Covid-19.
It is recorded that 4 (four) health centers have opened health services to the public as usual.
The four health centers include Sambau Community Health Center, Mentarau Health Center, Tiban Baru Community Health Center and Sei Langkai Community Health Center.
Not only the health centers, Embung Fatimah Regional Hospital is also planned to reopen health services starting Monday (14/9/2020).
According to Head of Batam City Health Department ( Kadinkes), Didi Kusmarjadi, the opening of several health facilities operations itself was because the cluster of Covid-19 transmission from health workers began to decrease and even tended to stop.
"It's stopped," said Didi to Tribun Batam when confirmed, Sunday (13/9/2020).

Didi also said that health care workers who had recovered from Covid-19 were allowed to work immediately.
This is because the need for public health services is very much needed in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic as it is today.
"You can do the job right away," he added.
Meanwhile, additional patients confirmed positive for Covid-19 in Batam are still happening.
On September 12, 2020, there were an additional 22 positive patients with Covid-19.
Meanwhile, 18 patients recovered from Covid-19.
From Batam Covid-19 Task Force Team data, the cumulative number of positive patients with Covid-19 was 938 people.
558 of them were declared cured of Covid-19 and as many as 38 people died.
