Covid-19 Cases Continue to Rise, ASN of Batam Government Returns to WFH, Extended until October 1

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The work from home (WFH) policy for the state civil apparatus (ASN) within the Batam City Government has been extended again. 

Given the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in Batam and up to 1089 cases, the local government has also implemented various health protocol policies in the office environment. 

Initially, WFH for ASN was held from 31 August to 17 September 2020. Now, the term of WFH is extended from 18 September to 1 October 2020.

This policy refers to government regulations as well as the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number HK.01.07 / Menkes / 328/2020 concerning Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, the number of employees who carry out their duties in the office can be regulated by the relevant OPD leadership at a maximum of 25% of total attendance. 

If there are employees who have been confirmed Covid-19, the relevant Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) services must be temporarily closed for three days.

This was done to spray disinfectants according to the direction of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force. 

If employees are required to undergo a rapid test or swab test, they must undergo independent isolation until the test results come out.
