Adding 50 New Cases, Total Covid-19 in Batam Reach 1.514 Infection

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM -The Covid-19 case in Batam still shows the addition of confirmed Corona virus patients.

Reporting from corona.kepriprov.go.id as of 27th September 2020, there were an additional 50 new cases of confirmed Covid-19 patients in Batam.

Of the 50 patients confirmed with Covid-19, 22 were male and 28 female.

This data is the result of a swab examination by BTKL PP Laboratory Analyst Team and Covid-19 RSKI Laboratory Analyst in Galang based on the results of new case findings and tracing results.

This addition, brought the number of positive cases of Covid-19 in Batam to 1,514 cases.

The good news is, the number of Corona virus patients recovered has increased, namely 108 patients.

The addition of recovered patients made the total number of recovered patients in Batam City amounted to 921 cases.

Based on the historical list, 16 new cases of Covid-19 in Batam City came from the Panbil dormitory area.

Most of them were asymptomatic. Those who tested positive included cases number 1497, 1498, 1499, 1500, 1501, 1502, 1503, 1504, 1506, 1507, 1508, 1509, 1510, 1511 and 1512.

"It can be concluded temporarily that the increase in the number of new cases is due to a decrease in the level of community discipline in implementing health protocols in various daily activities.
