Prevent Covid-19 Transmission, Kabil Industrial Area in Batam Sprayed With Disinfectant

To prevent the transmission of Covid-19, almost the entire Kabil industrial area, Batam, was sprayed with disinfectants, Friday (2/10/2020).

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - To prevent the transmission of Covid-19, almost the entire Kabil industrial area, Batam, was sprayed with disinfectants, Friday (2/10/2020).

According to Director of Citramas Group Batam, Naradewa, the spraying was carried out by the Regional Police (Polda) Kepri.

"The spraying was inside our area. Almost several sections of the road were sprayed," said Naradewa.

Apart from roads, continued Naradewa, several areas in the Kabil industrial area such as Citra Nusa Harbor and other areas have also not gone unnoticed.

He also supports the steps of the Riau Islands Police to do this.

Given, several companies in the Mukakuning industrial area are being tested for a pandemic after many workers were exposed to Covid-19.

In addition, Naradewa also said that his party continues to oversee the implementation of health protocols for all workers in the Kabil industrial area.

"Violations will certainly be confronted with representatives," he said.

As is known, one of the industrial areas in Batam is being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The industrial area is located in Mukakuning, Batam City.

From data from the Batam Health Service ( Dinkes), it is known that workers at 17 companies there have been exposed to Covid-19.

With two companies, PT Infineon Technologies Batam and PT. Philips Batam, dominates the number of workers exposed to Covid-19.

From the data, PT. Infineon Technologies Batam contributed 88 workers and PT. Philips Technologies Batam as many as 171 workers.

Even so, Batam Kadinkes, Didi Kusmarjadi said that transmission in the industrial area began to slope.
