1 PT Infineon's Worker Who Positive of Covid-19 Died, Was Treated at Embung Fatimah Hospital

The spread of Covid-19 in Mukakuning industrial area, Batam City, is slowly starting to slope. Mukakuning cluster there was one worker who had died.

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The spread of Covid-19 in Mukakuning industrial area, Batam City, is slowly starting to slope.

Head of Batam City Health Department ( Kadinkes), Didi Kusmarjadi, said that the transmission of Corona virus in the area is starting to be controlled.

"There are no more new cases added," said Didi to TribunBatam.id when confirmed, Thursday (1/10/2020).

In addition, Didi revealed, many workers exposed to Covid-19 began to recover.

"Generally, old cases have recovered. Especially for PT Philips, there were 55 people who recovered," he added.

He also informed that from the Mukakuning cluster there was one worker who had died.

Didi said the worker came from PT Infineon Technologies Batam.

"Died at the Embung Fatimah Hospital yesterday," he said.

The Batam Covid-19 Task Force Team noted that 25 people had recovered from Covid-19 on September 30, 2020.

This figure also affects the cumulative number of patients who have recovered from Covid-19 in Batam to 1,036 people.

Meanwhile, the cumulative number of positive Covid-19 patients in Batam reached 1,637 people.
