UPDATE Corona Virus in Batam: Increase by 40, 1.691 Covid-19 Cases, 1.136 Patients Heal
Covid-19 pandemic cases in Batam has again shown new cases as of October 3, 2020. A total of 40 new cases consisting of 24 men and 16 women.

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Covid-19 pandemic cases in Batam has again shown new cases as of October 3, 2020.
Data from Covid-19 Handling Task Force, there were 40 additional new cases of confirmed corona positive patients in Batam.
A total of 40 new cases consisting of 24 men and 16 women residents of Batam City have been treated at several referral hospitals.
A total of 28 patients of whom were treated at Galang Covid-19 Hospital, 2 people at the Embung Fatimah Hospital, 1 person at Elizabeth Batam City Hospital, 1 person at Elizabeth Lubuk Baja Hospital, 4 people at Batam Hospital, 1 person at RSAB, 2 people at Bhayangkara Hospital, 1 person at Graha Hermine Hospital.
Meanwhile, patients also come from a variety of different professional backgrounds.
Among them, one child is not yet in school, an infant, the other patient is a private employee, 1 civil servant, housewife, Police, student.
Most patients belong to the classification of people with symptoms (suspect) than OTG (Asymptomatic) and Probable.

With the addition of these cases, Covid-19 cases in Batam became 1691 patients.
Although increasing, the trend of Covid-19 patient cure rates in Batam is relatively high.
Until now 1,136 Covid-19 patients have been recorded as cured.
Meanwhile 509 patients are still undergoing treatment and 46 people have died due to Covid-19.
These findings suggest that there are still possibilities for the emergence of new cases from existing clusters, or new findings in Batam City.
To that end, the Head of the Batam City Covid-19 Task Force Health Sector, Dr. Didi Kusmardjadi, always urges the public to follow the government's recommendations in implementing health protocols.
