Batam Adds 50 Covid-19 Cases, A Polda Prisoner & Pastor Positive Covid-19, One Person Died

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The number of Covid-19 patients in Batam has increased by 50 people. 

Private employees are again the profession with the most confirmed positive exposure to the coronavirus. 

Data from the task force noted that there were 18 positive private employees. 

Apart from private employees, the task force also noted that a pastor and prisoner of the Riau Islands Police (Polda Kepri) were positive for the coronavirus. 

So far, the total positive cases of Covid-19 have reached 2,020 until Wednesday, (14/10/2020).

All of them are currently being treated at a number of hospitals, including the Covid-19 Galang Hospital, Keluarga Husada Hospital, Awal Bros Hospital, Graha Hermine Hospital, Elisabeth Hospital, Bhayangkara Batam Hospital, Embung Fatimah Hospital, and BP Batam Hospital. 

Meanwhile, there was 1 Covid-19 patient who died. 

The patient experiences shortness of breath, fever and cough.

After receiving intensive care at Awal Bros Hospital, her condition got worse.

The patient who died was a 50 years old housewife and lived in Nongsa, Batam.
