UPDATE October 15: New Covid-19 Cases Recorded in 33 Provinces, DKI Jakarta is Still the Highest

The central government updated the information on the development of the daily Covid-19 cases on Thursday (15/10/2020). Here are the details.

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The central government updated the information on the development of the daily Covid-19 cases on Thursday (15/10/2020). 

Based on data shared by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force on Thursday afternoon, there were 4,411 new cases of patients confirmed positive for Covid-19

The data starts from Wednesday (14/10/2020) at 12.00 WIB to this Thursday at 12.00 WIB.

So, accumulatively there are 349,160 positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia to date. 

The number of additions was obtained from the results of examining 42,208 specimens in the last 24 hours.

Based on these data, new cases of patients with positive confirmation of Covid-19 are spread across 33 provinces.

Meanwhile, one province that was monitored did not experience the addition of new cases, namely North Kalimantan. 

From this data, there were also five provinces with the highest addition of new cases. 

The five provinces are DKI Jakarta (1,071 new cases), West Java (590 new cases), Central Java (472 new cases), West Sumatra (363 new cases) and East Java (267 new cases). 

Meanwhile, the overall transmission of Covid-19 has so far occurred in 500 districts/cities in 34 provinces.

Then, the government also noted that there were an additional 5,810 patients who had been declared cured.

Thus, the total number of patients recovered from Covid-19 was 273,661 people. 

In addition, there are 112 additional patients who died after previously testing positive for the coronavirus

Thus, the number of patients who have died due to Covid-19 is currently 12,268 people. 

The following is data on the distribution of new Covid-19 cases in 33 provinces until October 14, 2020:

1. DKI Jakarta: 1,071 new cases

2. West Java: 590 new cases

3. Central Java: 472 new cases

4. West Sumatra: 363 new cases

5. East Java: 267 new cases

6. Riau: 181 new cases

7. East Kalimantan: 165 new cases

8. West Papua: 156 new cases

23. Jambi: 23 new cases

24. Central Sulawesi: 21 new cases

25. Lampung: 17 new cases

26. Maluku: 12 new cases

27. North Sulawesi: 11 new cases

28. Bengkulu: 7 new cases

29. West Sulawesi: 7 new cases

30. Bangka Belitung: 4 new cases

31. North Maluku: 1 new case

32. NTT: 1 new case

33. Gorontalo: 1 new case
