Batam-Singapore Border Route will be Opened, Jefridin: Tourism Areas must be Clean

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Regional Secretary ( Sekda) of Batam City, Jefridin reminded that tourism area managers can maintain a clean environment. So it is convenient for tourists to visit.
This was conveyed during the mangrove tree planting activity at Pandang Tak Jemu Mangrove Beach, Nongsa.
Cleanliness is very important to attract tourists.
"Apart from being clean, the manager must also be friendly, always smiling," said Jefridin, Saturday (10/17/2020).
Jefridin said that currently the government is preparing a plan to reopen Batam and Singapore trips. Although currently only for business people, he is sure that if it goes smoothly, tourism travel will also be widely opened soon.
That is why he reminded all tourism area managers to prepare themselves. Keep maintaining cleanliness around the tourism area.

"Starting from the entrance, you must make it comfortable. Plant flowers to make them beautiful," he said.
Jefridin also said that if tourism came back to life, his party was sure it would be able to boost the community's economic sector. Starting from hotels, restaurants and also transportation will be excited again.
"Batam will be ready to help road infrastructure to tourism areas like this. Please coordinate with the village head to be included in the musrenbang," he said.
In addition, Jefridin reminded all elements to comply with health protocols. Use a mask, keep your distance, stay away from crowds and also wash your hands with soap and running water.
"The health protocol must be applied even more so when going outside," he said.
