186 Employees of PT PCI Elektronik Batam Exposed to Covid-19, Detected during a Bulk of Swab Test

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Positive Covid-19 patients in Batam City have increased in recent days.

The number of additions is not proportional to the number of patients who recover. 

"It has started to increase again," said the Head of the Batam City Covid-19 Task Force, Didi Kusmarjadi, Friday (23/10/2020). 

He admitted, Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) were again shifted to the Flats, and the BP Batam Flats were getting ready to become an isolation place for positive patients with an asymptomatic classification.

He said employees of PT PCI Elektronik Internasional who were at the Panbil Industri Complex, Jendral A. Yani st, Batam City previously conducted a mass swab test.

After compiled with data from Medilab, the number of people who were subject to the test was 2,310 people. There were 356 reactive people and 1954 non-reactive people.

Meanwhile, the number who took the swab test was 356 people. Of that number, 186 people are positive, 155 people are negative and 15 people are still waiting for the results.
