Covid-19 Update in Batam, Positive Patients Add 98 People, Total 2,390, and Recover Add 37

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Positive cases of Covid-19 in Batam are still high. Every day, there are almost new positive cases of Corona.

Most recently, the Batam Covid-19 Task Force Team announced the development of data on the Covid-19 case in Batam, Thursday (22/10/2020).

That day, the number of patients confirmed positive for Covid-19 in Batam City increased by 98 people.

Meanwhile, the number of patients who recovered was only 37 people. 

"The total number of positive patients with Covid-19 in Batam currently reaches 2,390 people, and the total number of patients who have recovered is 1,849.

The total number of patients who died was 65 people and 476 people are currently being treated, "said Batam City Covid-19 Task Force Team Leader, Didi Kusmarjadi, Friday (23/10/2020). 

He continued, the Covid-19 patient was being treated in various hospitals. However, there are also those who undergo independent isolation and isolation in hotels.

He explained, there are 15 patients undergoing independent isolation, were treated at Awal Bross Hospital 23 people, Bhayangkara Hospital 30 people, Budi Kemuliaan Hospital 6 people, Camatha Sahidya Hospital 1 person, Galang Hospital 314 people, Harapan Bunda Hospital 14 people, Keluarga Husada Hospital 1 person, Graha Hermine Hospital 10 people. 

Then, Soedarsono D Hospital 2 people, Embung Fatimah Hospital 10 people, Elisabeth Sei Lekop Hospital 2 people, 7 people at Elisabeth Hospital Batam City, 12 people at Elisabeth Lubuk Baja Hospital, 26 people at BP Batam Hospital and at hotels 3 people.

He continued, based on the map of the current situation of Covid-19, there are several sub-districts that are still red. Namely Batam Kota District, Sungai Beduk District, Batuaji District, Sagulung District, Nongsa District, Bengkong District and Lubuk Baja District.  (*)
