Covid-19 Update in Riau Islands, Add 38 New Positive Cases, 4 Died, 6 Healed

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The number of positive patients with Corona virus in Riau Islands has increased by 38 people.

Data on Covid-19 in Riau Islands noted that the additional cases consisted of 21 Batam residents.

One of them died. Apart from Batam residents, there are 5 positive patients from Tanjungpinang.

Two of them died. Then 12 positive numbers in Karimun, one person died.

On the same day, there were six patients recovering from the Corona virus in Riau Islands.

The details, four of whom are residents of the city of Batam.

One resident of the city of Tanjungpinang and one person is a resident of Karimun district.

The total positive cases of the Corona virus in Riau Islands have reached 3,059 people.

Of these, 2,458 patients have recovered (discarded), confirmation that 517 people are currently being treated and confirmation of death 84 people.

"Continue to comply with health protocols according to the government's advice and keep your distance and always wash your hands using running water," said the Head of the Riau Islands Provincial Health Office, Mohammad Bisri in a statement received by TribunBatam.id, Thursday (22/10/2020).
