Corona Patients in Batam Add 33 Cases, Total Now 3,084 Positive Cases

A total of 33 new cases consisting of 18 men and 15 women residents of Batam City have been treated at several referral hospitals.

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Positive Covid-19 patients in Batam increased by 33 cases.

The addition of these new cases is based on data received by the Batam Covid-19 Task Force, and based on the results of the BTKLPP-Class I Batam swab test, Friday (6/11).

The new cases add to the row of Covid-19 cases in Batam City to 3,084 cases.

A total of 33 new cases consisting of 18 men and 15 women residents of Batam City have been treated at several referral hospitals. 

A total of 24 people were treated at the Galang Covid-19 Hospital, 6 people were treated at Bapelkes Batam, 1 person was treated at Budi Kemuliaan Hospital. 

Then 1 person at Awal Bros Hospital, and 1 other person were treated at Embung Fatimah Hospital.

Meanwhile, patients also come from a variety of different professional backgrounds. 

Among them, there are 26 private employees, 3 self-employed, 3 unemployed, and 1 housewife. 

Most patients were classified as asymptomatic, namely 28 patients, and 5 suspect patients.

These findings suggest that there's still the possibility of new cases from existing clusters, or new findings in Batam City.

Head of the Batam City Covid-19 Task Force Health Division, Dr. Didi Kusmardjadi, again appealed to the public to follow Government recommendations in implementing health protocols.

1. Positive Patient Case Number 3052

Mr. ZA, male, 54 years old, private employee, address at Bengkong District, Batam City.
