Australian Foreigner Found Dead in Apartment, Evidently Positive Covid-19

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - Andrew Watterson (59), a foreign national (WNA) from Australia was found dead in Aston Apartments room 2209.

Although it was mysterious, it was recently discovered that the death of this foreigner was due to the illness he was experiencing, because from the results of the swab test it was known that he was positive for Covid-19.

Even now, Andrew's body is still in the morgue at the Bhayangkara Polda Kepri Hospital. 

Lubuk Baja Police Chief, Commissioner Arya Tessa Brahmana by telephone confirmed the death.

"The results of the Swab stated that he was positive for corona," said Arya by telephone, Wednesday (10/2/2021).

Arya admitted, currently the body will be cremated. 

Furthermore, Arya also said that this Australian foreigner was found dead on Thursday (4/2/2021).
