The Catch of Fishermen Decreased, The Chinese New Year Dingkis Fish is Hard to Find
Fish dingkis, which is identical to being served during the Chinese New Year celebration in Batam, Riau Islands (Kepri) this year, feels different...
This is due to the decline in the catch of the fishermen who daily fish for dingkis by fishing.
Not only fishermen catching fish, even fish cage fishermen also complain about the same thing.
Alfian, a fisherman on Galang Island, Batam, when interviewed by telephone, admitted that this year's catch has decreased. Because, Dingkis fish is very difficult to find.
"This year isn't like last year, this year for some reason, dingkis is very difficult to find," said Alfian, Thursday (11/2/2021).
Alfian admitted, this year is really a difficult year to find Dingkis fish.
Alfian also said, usually, not until three days before the Chinese New Year, he could save almost Rp. 70 million, but currently, to reach Rp. 10 million is very difficult.
