President Jokowi: The Key of Economic Recovery is the Ability to Cope with a Pandemic

TRIBUNBATAM.id -  President Joko Widodo said that the key of Indonesia's economic recovery is the ability to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic.

He conveyed this in a video presentation of the opening speech for the Economy Outlook Indonesia which was uploaded on the istanapresiden.go.id page, Thursday (25/2/2021). 

"The key to our country's economic recovery is the ability to cope with a pandemic. In handling 3M and 3T and micro-scale PPKM, we must continue," said Jokowi. 

"At the same time, we can do the vaccination," he said. 

On the same occasion, President Jokowi also said that the Indonesia had undergone a year of the most difficult times due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

In addition, Indonesia has also experienced the most difficult times of economic growth.

Therefore, according to him, 2021 is a recovery period that must be greeted with optimism, enthusiasm and hard work. 

This is because, said Jokowi, a number of world financial institutions, such as the IMF, World Bank and OECD have predicted Indonesia's economic growth this year. 

According to a number of these institutions, the Indonesian economy will grow positively between 4-5 percent. 

Even so, Jokowi stated that Indonesia must be able to prove that economic growth is better than expected. (*)
