Today, The Elected Governor and Deputy Governor of Riau Islands are Inaugurated

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The Governor and Deputy Governor of Riau Islands, Ansar Ahmad - Marlin was inaugurated today, Thursday, (25/2/2021).

The inauguration was held at the State Palace, Jakarta, and was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo.

The inauguration of Ansar and Marlin coincided with the inauguration of the Governor and Deputy Governor of West Sumatra and Bengkulu. 

The inauguration of the Governor and Deputy Governor of Riau Islands based on information from the Director General of Regional Autonomy of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), Akmal Malik on Wednesday (24/2/2021).

This information also conveyed by the Chairman of the DPD Golkar Party of Riau Islands, Ahmad Maruf Maulana. 

He said, with the inauguration of Ansar-Marlin, it was hoped that the people's economy after the coronavirus pandemic could recover again, in order to restore the Riau Islands economy which was stumbling due to the pandemic. 

"I hope the people of Riau Islands can jointly guard the promises of the elected Governor and Deputy Governor for the revival of the Riau Islands, particularly the economy and jobs," said Maruf. (*)
