UPDATE: Add 4.549 People, Covid-19 Cases in Indonesia Now Reaches 1.542.516

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Covid-19 pandemic has been hit Indonesia for a year. However, the daily Covid-19 cases, mortality rate, and patients undergoing hospitalization are still growing. 

Data from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force until Tuesday (6/4/2021) showed that there were an additional 4,549 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. 

The addition caused the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia now reach 1,542,516 people. 

The same data shows, there are additional patients who have recovered from Covid-19. Within a day, the number increased by 4,296 people. 

Thus, the number of Covid-19 patients who have recovered in Indonesia to date has reached 1,385,973 people.

However, the number of patients who died after being exposed to Covid-19 also continues to grow. In the period of April 5-6, 2021, 162 Covid-19 patients died.

Thus, the death rate due to Covid-19 now reached 41,977 people since the beginning of the pandemic.

With this data, there are currently 114,566 active cases of Covid-19. 

Active cases are patients who are still confirmed positive for the coronavirus, and are undergoing treatment in hospitals or independent isolation. (*)
