TRIBUNBATAM.id - The number of patients that infected with Covid-19 in Indonesia continues to grow, based on government data until Friday (4/23/2021).
Based on data from the Covid-19 Handling Task Force, there were an additional 5,436 positive Covid-19 patients in the last 24 hours.
Thus the number of patients who have contracted Covid-19 in Indonesia now reached 1,632,248 people.
The information was conveyed by the task force to reporters Friday afternoon. Data can also be accessed via the Covid19.go.id which is always updated every evening.
In addition, the same data also shows that there are an additional 5,920 people recovered from Covid-19 a day.
Thus, the number of patients who have recovered after being infected with the coronavirus has now 1,487,369 people since the beginning of the pandemic.
However, in the same period it was also still announcing that there were additional patients who died due to Covid-19.
In the period of April 22-23, 174 Covid-19 patients died.
Thus, the total number of patients who have died after contracting Covid-19 is now 44,346 people.
With this data, there are currently 100,533 active cases of Covid-19.
Active cases are patients who are currently undergoing intensive care in a hospital or undergoing independent isolation.
