Full Capacity, Galang Hospital Stop Receiving Covid-19 Patients for a While

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The Galang Island Special Infection Hospital (RSKI) temporarily doesn't accept additional Covid-19 patients. 

This step was taken considering that the number of Covid-19 positive patients at the Galang Hospital was already full capacity. 

There are no more treatment rooms available in Building A and Building B of Galang Hospital. 

Meanwhile, existing medical personnel are now focused on treating patients who have been there before.

The manager was forced to stop accepting additional Covid-19 patients. Because in five consecutive days, the number of Covid-19 patients at the Galang Hospital continues to increase. In fact, patients are predominantly women.  

Of the total 360 hospitalized patients, 125 of them were male patients and 235 female patients.

Since the Galang Hospital began treating Covid-19 patients, there have been 13,296 registered patients undergoing treatment. (Tribunbatam.id/Beres Lumbantobing)
