Losing Many Visitors, Desert Tourism in Bintan was Empty During the Pandemic
Desert Tourism in Busung Village, Seri Kuala Lobam District, Bintan Regency, is increasingly empty of visitors during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Based on Tribunbatam.id's coverage at the location, the Desert Tour, which is not far from the Megat Alang Perkasa Bintan Football Stadium, looks empty of visitors.
The decline has been seen starting from the entry of Covid-19, namely from 2020 to 2021.
He continued, even if there are visitors who come, mostly only local visitors.
"Before Covid-19, there were many visitors from abroad such as Singapore and Malaysia. But now there are none, only local visitors," he said.
Mahidin added, the entrance fee to the Busung Village Desert Tour is still very affordable per vehicle.
"IDR 2,000 for motorbikes, IDR 5,000 for cars and IDR 20,000 for buses," he said.
Even though there were no visitors, Mahidin remained optimistic and patiently waiting for the visitors who wanted to travel to the Busung Desert. (Tribunbatam.id/Alfandi Simamora)
