The atmosphere at Batam's Hang Nadim Airport arrival terminal, Wednesday (7/7/2021) seemed empty of passengers since flight rules were tightened.

TRIBUNBATAM.id, BATAM - The arrival terminal of Batam Hang Nadim Airport was empty and no passengers.

Apart from the Covid-19 pandemic, the requirements are divided for Domestic Travelers (PPDN) according to the Circular of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Covid-19 Number 14 of 2021, as well as the Circular Letter of the Minister of Transportation Number 45 of 2021.

The two regulations explain a number of the latest flight requirements for Domestic Travelers (PPDN).

One of them is the flight requirements for airport final destinations in Java and Bali.

The government requires prospective passengers to show a Covid-19 vaccination card and PCR test results that are valid for 2x24 hours.

Meanwhile, rapid antigen doesn't apply to these two areas.

According to Tribunbatam.id's observation, only a number of airport officers and a few people were seen around the arrivals area.

The atmosphere was quiet. Not much different from when the Covid-19 pandemic hit Batam a year ago.

In fact, different conditions can be seen at the departure terminal. It is full of passengers

General Manager of the Airport Business Entity (BUBU) Hang Nadim Batam, Benny Syahroni said that the implementation of two circulars from the government itself began from July 3 to 20, 2021.
