Travelers, Here are the Latest Requirements for Boarding a Plane

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The Indonesian government has re-enacted the latest conditions for boarding flights which have been effective since October 28, 2021. 

The rules for boarding the plane are stated in the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Transportation (SE Kemenhub) Number 93 of 2021.

Then the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) Number 57 of 2021. 

Before traveling by plane in the near future, here are the latest flight requirements.

1. Flight area

The latest flight conditions apply to flights from and to the airport, as well as between airports in the Java and Bali regions. Then, the conditions also apply to flights between airports outside Java and Bali.

2. Air travelers who are obliged to obey the rules

All air travelers, including children under 12 years old, must comply with the latest regulations that are currently in effect.

3. Applicable travel rules

- All prospective passengers must show a Covid-19 vaccine card at least the first dose, and a negative PCR test result with samples taken within a maximum of 3x24 hours before departure, or

- All prospective passengers are required to show a complete dose of Covid-19 vaccine card, and a negative rapid antigen result with a sample taken within a maximum period of 1x24 hours before departure.

- Covid-19 vaccine certificates are excluded for children under 12 years of age, as well as travelers with special health conditions or comorbid illnesses that prevent them from being vaccinated.

- Travelers with special health conditions or comorbid diseases are required to attach a doctor's certificate from a government hospital stating that they have not and/or cannot be vaccinated against Covid-19. 

- Travelers at point 4 are also required to show a negative result of the Covid-19 test that has been determined.

- Travelers under the age of 12 must be accompanied by their parents or family as evidenced by a Family Card, and fulfill the Covid-19 test requirements that have been determined.
