Valentino Rossi's Brother says Mandalika Circuit has the Best Turns in The World

TRIBUNBATAM.id - The condition of the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit has been complained by many MotoGP riders.

But, on the other hand, many admire the design. 

The Mandalika Circuit is equipped with 17 bends and many run-off areas.

Located near the sea, this circuit has some very fast turns. 

These bends include bends 6 and 7. 

Riders who like both bends, including Luca Marini, Valentino Rossi's brother. 

"I think this track is one of the best on the calendar, it just needs to be cleaned up," said Marini, Saturday (2/19/2022).

Apart from the circuit conditions, Marini added, the track is very good. According to him, turns 6 and 7 are the best turns in the world.

"This place is fantastic. I really enjoy that moment in every lap," said the Mooney VR46 Racing Team racer. 

In the pre-season test session at the Mandalika Circuit, Marini was recorded as the fastest on the second day. But, overall, he is in third place. 

The Mandalika Circuit is currently under repair, because there are several bends where the rocks are detached from the asphalt. Thus, it is necessary to re-asphalt some areas.
